Encased in a contemporary-meets-luxe Yan Ting, St. Regis Singapore gift box—where golden bird and flower brooch rests on a LED-lit, glittery crystal backdrop—are four unique, snowskins born from an exclusive collaboration with award-winning pâttisier Melissa Chou.

Recognised as one of San Francisco’s top pastry chefs—and also the current pastry chef at the one Michelin-starred Bay Area establishment Mister Jiu’s—Chef Chou worked with Yan Ting’s pastry and dim sum chef Vanness Cai to give us some masterfully balanced creations.

Theres’s the Jasmine Tea Paste snowskin with salted egg yolk and crunch of melon seeds; nourishing Red Date and Wolfberry Paste with almond flakes; almost classic combo Custard with Macadamia Nuts; and a rich Black Sesame Paste with a salted peanut truffle core. It’s sweet and savoury, and with a crunch, reminiscent of a peanut butter treat.

St. Regis Singapore’s mooncakes are available from 9 August to 24 September 2018.
