One Dish Monday: Spanish Doughnuts Singapore's Churritos

Orchard Central may not present much for foodies, but recent F&B openings like Spanish Doughnuts Singapore (#05-51/52) has got us excited. A definite highlight is their signature Choco Churritos ($9.90) enjoyed with a trio of white, milk and dark chocolate dips. Prepared, fresh-to-order, in cholesterol-free vegetable oil, the petite churros were delightfully crisp to the point of crunchy—a much-welcomed contrast to the usual doughy offerings. They've also got a savoury dip version in the pipeline. Other interesting items include their coated Bombon Churros with a variety of fillings in premium flavours like coconut bombon, white chocolate bombon and Creme brûlée ($12 for 3 sticks).
