Mid-Autumn 2016 at Golden Peony, Conrad Centennial Singapore
Award-winning Cantonese restaurant Golden Peony debuts some new snowskin creations this season, but it is their selection of mooncake boxes that has caught our attention.
Available in three colours—Velvet Red, Luxe Gold, and a limited edition Antique Gold with a floral motif—this year's treasure boxes are not only sturdy, but also luxurious to the touch.
This year sees the introduction of four new mini snowskin mooncakes: Champagne & Strawberry, Rum & Raisin, Cranberry Cheese, and Green Tea with White Chocolate (all $64, 8pcs).
Other perennial favourites include their signature Sweet Potato Mooncake in Crispy Filo Pastry ($64, 8pcs) , as well as other baked classics such as the Traditional Baked with Double Yolk in White Lotus Paste ($72, 4pcs) and Traditional Baked with Mixed Nuts ($72, 4pcs).
