Rich and Vibrant Flavours of India at Mandarin Oriental Singapore
The much-lauded Indian cuisine showcase by Indian culinary master Santosh Kumar returns, by popular demand, to Mandarin Oriental Singapore from 16 to 31 May 2016.
His Hyderbadi cuisine ‘Flavours of India’ promotion was last here at Melt Cafe in October 2015, and this time round, Chef Santosh brings together yet another array of masterful offerings full of flavour and spice.
Lamb & Foie Gras
Sachems Ki Biryani
Definite must-tries include the signature Sachems Ki Biryani (whole lamb Biryani) with gorgeously flavoursome, fall-apart tender chunks of lamb, and the succulent Butter Chicken Masala that’s best enjoyed with tricolored Tiranga Pulav or Melt’s selection of perfectly executed Naans—to mop up that rich gravy.

Kebabs
Also good is the delectable spread of Kebabs, freshly fired up at the ‘live' gourmet kebab station just outside the restaurant, Dal Saat Nizam—a ‘dal' prepared using seven different lentils—as well as the interesting Lahsun Shorba (wild garlic soup) that really grows on you.
