RAS Epicurean Star Award 2014
Honouring top-of-the-class star chefs and F&B dining concepts since 2006, the annual Epicurean Star Awards by Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) took place 25 November 2014, presenting a total of 15 restaurant awards—some favourites, as well as some unexpected wins.
Best Caterer: Orange Clove Catering
Best Buffet: Edge, Pan Pacific Singapore
Best Gastro-Pub: Timbre @ The Arts House
Best Cafe: D'Good Cafe
Best New F&B Establishment Joint Winners: Pince & Pints and Saha Signature Indian Restaurant & Bar
Best Asian Casual Dining: Zaffron Kitchen
Best Chinese Casual Dining: LingZhi Vegetarian
Best Japanese Casual Dining: The Flying Squirrel, over Saboten and Sushi Tei.
Best Western Casual Dining: The Marmalade Pantry
Best Asian Fine Dining: Forest from RWS
Best Chinese Fine Dining Joint Winners: Tong Le Private Dining and Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant
Best Japanese Fine Dining: Hashida Sushi Singapore, over Mikuni and Fat Cow.
Best Western Fine Dining: Pollen, over Jaan and Joel Robuchon Restaurant.
Best of the Best Casual Dining: The Marmalade Pantry
Best of the Best Fine Dining: Hashida Sushi Singapore
In addition, RAS also launching their first ever consumer dining guide at the Epicurean Star Award 2014, available at all major bookstores at S$12 a copy. We hear a 'RAS Restaurant Month' is also in the works for 2015.
