Weekend brunches are the god-sent answers to my love for slumber, and an equally compelling desire for a staple eggs and toast meal to start my day. The brunch menu at Saint Pierre features an exhaustive list of breakfast options done with Chef Emmanuel Stroobant’s signature touch. If one is to sleep like a king, one should eat like one too. Braised Lobster, Ikura and Champagne Hollandaise ($36++) sure is befitting if you’re looking to pamper yourself this weekend. Conventional favourites such as the Eggs Benedict ($24++) is jazzed up by the premium cut of bellota ham, and drizzed over with a champagne hollandaise sauce.
If you’re looking for something lighter on the palate, the Japanese Eggplant Puree ($24++) makes a good sharing option. The smooth texture of the eggplant puree lends a sweet undertone, allowing room for the bits of Uni and Ikura flavours to flow through in each scoop.
