McDonald's Spicy Challenge - The Fiery Mala

McDonald's Singapore will be launching its latest and spiciest burger, the Fiery Mala, at all outlets tomorrow, 26 April 2014. Each Fiery Mala Special, consisting of a Fiery Mala burger, Yuzu McFizz, and a Large French Fries is available at $7.70. 

Topping their 'Spicy Challenge' charts, the Level 4 Spicy Burger features lettuce, grilled chicken patty—seasoned with chilli, garlic, black pepper and capsicum for a lingering numbing effect—topped with chargrill sauce for additional peppery flavor between toasted sesame seed buns.

Writer's opinion: The Fiery Mala grilled patty succeeds in being considerably peppery enough to lend a slight, mala-esque burn that lingers on the tongue and lips. Breaking away from the series of fried chicken patty burgers (Level 1 to 3), it falls behind in terms of flavour  - perhaps a Double Fiery Mala might do the trick.
