Ultimate Hawker Fest 2014 (22 Nov)

The third edition of Ultimate Hawker Fest returns Saturday, 22 November 2014 (11am to 5pm) at Suntec Convention Centre Halls 401 and 402.

Curated by food bloggers and hawker fare lovers Maureen Ow (www.MissTamChiak.com), Derrick Tan (www.SgFoodOnFoot.com) and Ian Low (TheSilverChef.blogspot.sg), the one-day charity event brings together 25 hawkers and chefs for a good cause—100% of proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the services and programmes of TOUCH Community Services. 

Aside from a lineup of pioneer generation hawkers serving up finessed, traditional hawker creations with finer ingredients—like abalone and foie gras—for that 'ultimate' twist, expect also local dishes from celebrity chefs Eric Neo (Man Fu Yuan, Intercontinental Hotel), Tan Yong Hua (Restaurant HOME), Melvin Lim (Ramada & Days Hotels Singapore) and Shen Tan (fomerly of Ujong and The Wok & Barrel).
